ILIAD Catamarans at 2023 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

ILIAD Catamarans will be attending the 2023 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show from October 25-29 following exceptional interest from the US market in the shipyard’s long-range luxury cruising catamarans.

The company’s impressive range of power catamarans are fast becoming renowned for their commanding ability to conquer any ocean passage with confidence. Outstanding craftsmanship, cutting-edge design and construction excellence combine to deliver unparalleled performance, long-range capability and class-leading fuel efficiency.

There has been a significant increase in interest from US cruising enthusiasts in the past two years, assisted by attention from renowned YouTube channel, NautiStyles.

The Australian company has revolutionised the long-range power catamaran industry with its models that include the ILIAD 50, ILIAD 53S, ILIAD 53F and ILIAD 62. Plans for the upcoming hybrid/electric ILIAD 53E and the ILIAD 75F are also well advanced.

ILIAD Catamarans has enjoyed a meteoric rise since its launch in 2019 with many of its models now cruising the world. The company recently entered the US market with a strong reception at the 2022 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, where the team secured its first US order and enjoyed very strong interest from visitors. In addition to attending this year’s Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, the ILIAD team will launch the ILIAD 53F – the flybridge version of the ILIAD 53 – to the North American market at the 2024 Miami Boat Show.

The ILIAD 50 has been immensely popular since its 2019 launch, and the ILIAD 62 was nominated for the prestigious ‘Multihull of the Year’ award in the MultiYacht category. ILIAD Catamarans now has forward orders stretching into 2024 and has opened a new state-of-the-art shipyard to facilitate increased production across its range.

The ILIAD 53S and ILIAD 53F had their global premieres at the 2023 Australian boat shows, and the sedan and flybridge motor yachts immediately impressed with their high bridge deck clearance and high freeboard, outstanding performance and extraordinary volume. The ILIAD 53S is enjoying particular popularity from buyers looking for a long-range vessel that is able to cruise inland waterways without the height restrictions posed by flybridge models.

The interior living space aboard the ILIAD 53 models is unprecedented and comprises an expansive forward lounge, helm station (optional) and dining for 6-8 people.

Accommodation onboard is generous and beautifully designed with the master suite encompassing an entire hull and featuring an oversized island queen bed, panoramic windows and spacious ensuite. Fitted with the finest European appliances, the galley is sleek and practical with its island bench, full-size refrigerator and freezer, and well-designed storage.

On both versions, the ILIAD 53 boasts exceptional outdoor space for entertaining and relaxing, and the cockpit features a bar area and dining setting for up to ten guests. The flybridge on the ILIAD 53F model sets a new reference in use of space, features and comfort, while the optional tender platform is ideal for safe sea access when swimming or diving and makes a superb sunbathing spot when the tender is deployed.

The ILIAD 53S and ILIAD 53F are powered by Volvo, Yanmar or Cummins engines delivering a top speed of 21 knots (lightship), while cruising long range at low speeds will afford more than 3,135 nautical miles.

For those looking for even greater space, the ILIAD 62 strikes an impressive silhouette and boasts one of the longest-range capabilities in her class at more than 3,500 nautical miles.

The ILIAD Catamarans team will be at Stand #832 in the Bahia Mer Yachting Center at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, and bookings can be made by contacting +61 (0) 499 989 559, emailing info@iliadcatamarans.com or visiting the website at www.iliadcatamarans.com.
